Our Story

Hello, I'm Kylee, the founder of Stonelands, a small Australian-owned business based on my 40-acre farm in rural Queensland.

In 2021, I swapped coastal life in Noosa for open paddocks, olive trees, horses and a completely different way of life.

I've always loved traditional country homes, particularly the warmth and character of country kitchens, beautiful table settings and everyday pieces that are both practical and made to last. Those are the things that continue to inspire Stonelands.

How Stonelands Began

Stonelands began with a Coffee Body Scrub I created myself. From there, I introduced wellness teas and gradually expanded into country-inspired homewares and lifestyle products.

Like many small business owners, I didn't start with all the answers.

I've spent time exploring different ideas, testing products, listening to customers and learning what works. Some ideas have been more successful than others, but each has taught me something and helped shape the direction of Stonelands.

One thing I've discovered is how much people appreciate originality, quality, practicality and products with a genuine Australian connection.

They're also the things I value myself.

A New Chapter

Today, I'm taking everything I've learnt and using it to build a more distinctive Stonelands.

My focus is on developing a thoughtfully designed and coordinated range of products that reflect the charm of traditional country living, combining quality, practicality and timeless style.

I'm also learning new skills and exploring ways to bring more original Stonelands designs and products to life.

It's a work in progress, and I'm happy to share that journey. I want Stonelands to grow into a business with its own recognisable style and identity, rather than simply being another online store selling a collection of unrelated products.
